Labioplasty is a plastic surgery procedure for altering the labia minora and/or labia majora.

• Procedure

The operation is performed under local anaesthetic, possibly under sedation.
If the labia are too large, liposuction can be performed.
Any excess skin will be removed and the incision made will be sutured.
• Postoperative care

You can resume sexual intercourse when discomfort has disappeared.

Labia minora: nymphoplasty
Reducing your inner labia is possible if you are unhappy with their appearance or they are causing you physical discomfort (with tight pants, sports, etc.).

• Procedure

This operation is performed under local anesthesia, possibly under sedation.
The surgeon removes excess skin and labial mucosa and makes a suture ensuring smooth scarring.

• Postoperative care

You will be able to go home at the end of the surgery.
The suture is made with absorbable threads. You will not have to come back to remove them.
You will be able to resume normal activities the day after the surgery. Very good intimate hygiene will be absolutely necessary in the beginning: 1 or 2 showers a day, vaginal douche after each bowel movement, etc. You can resume sexual intercourse after about 3 weeks.
